Maine Medical Center To Host Medical Camp

 
May 2009 - Ten Maine-grown college students will have a firsthand look at the world of health care this summer, as they participate in a new Mini-Medical School Program, hosted by Maine Medical Center (MMC), Portland, Maine.
 
The program, part of the MMC-Tufts School of Medicine partnership, welcomes native Mainers who are attending colleges ranging from University of Maine to Cornell.....

We are a service of Penobscot Community Health Care and the Bangor AHEC. Our web-based health careers exploration tool for Maine students provides critical information on how to stay on track throughout your educational process. Our Web Portal allows you to explore health careers, plot out career steps, and engage directly with area educators, employers and health professionals. Job shadowing and eMentoring opportunities, as well as summer camp and local hands-on experiences are available through the Web Portal.
